Projectlibre Change Language
Projectlibre was founded to provide an open source replacement of Microsoft Project desktop. We have succeeded in that mission with over 3,000,000 desktop downloads but will soon also offer a revolutionary cloud solution, ProjectLibre Enterprise Cloud. This is similar to the impact Google Docs had on Microsoft Word.
Projectlibre Change Language
However this will also change the language of the spell checker, but as I said, changing the language back after inserting the date won't change the date format. To summarize, here is what you should do to solve your problem: • Change the spellcheck language to Swedish or any other language that uses the 2017-03-08 format. • Insert a date by pressing Shift+ Alt+ D. • Change the spellcheck language back to English or whatever language you're writing in. This is the result.
Using the SiteWideLocale parameter you have only set the default system language applicable to all users if they have not have changed their profiles otherwise. (User Profile Locale Settings apply first and foremost, then default system language) Set Currency ]project-open[ supports multiple currencies in use at the same time. (*)Alternatively you can copy a.conf file from an other directory and paste it in the new.projectlibre one. If so remember to cancel all the previous.conf file contents B) If you are MacOS or Linux users we suggest using the first option but for WIndows users use the java launcher option settings: 1. Navigate to your installation directory, lets say C: Program Files(x86) ProjectLibre 2.
If you are further i.e. 'c:UsersYOURNAMEdocuments' •.
Save changes. This method changes AT ONCE the interface language, coin type and date format according to chosen the language setting. (*)Alternatively you can copy a.conf file from an other directory and paste it in the new.projectlibre one.
Let's say you are logged in with the user sam. • Start a command prompt (use window search and enter 'command' or 'cmd') • A window will open (command prompt) and you'll be in your home directory (invitation will look like: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586] (c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C: Users sam> • Just enter: mkdir.projectlibre (This works for administrators and standard users) if you then enter the command dir (to list the content of your home directory), you should see.projectlibre among others. It says to use option 1 for OSX. OK so I did everything required and in users/kevin/.projectlibre is a projectlibre.conf file with the requisite line.
Thanks for above hints - I just changed language and it worked out fine as follows: • Create a new folder ProjectLibre in user home directory (same level as MyDocuments) • Use command prompt: echo 'locale=en' > ProjectLibre projectlibre.conf (until here it did not work - but then:) • open the newly created file projectlibre.conf (with an text editor program) and delete the quotation marks (' '). In other words - the quotation marks should not be written in the file. Save and Close - and next time opening ProjectLibre it opens in English. So far so good:-) However - now I have another issue. With the above steps I changed the language from German to English. And instead of Euro symbol the system now shows an awkward symbol - something like a little square.
It gets often asked how to change the ProjectLibre language interface, date format or currency. I want to thank our community member Alfonso Barbaro from Italy who aggregated a couple good ways to do this. It really is a pleasure working with a global community and really appreciate the contributions. ProjectLibre has been translated into 22 languages: English,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.
Click on a day (eg 25th of March) and then select ‘Non-working time’ You will see that the day is now red with a gray background. The red color means that there is a special rule for this day and the gray background means that this day is not a working day. You might see that the Gantt diagram does not look ok now where there is task dependancy. If such a problem occurs click on the connection arrow and ok in order to fix the connection. Something else that you must pay attention to is that sometimes days might not be correctly recalculated. You should close the project and reopen it if something looks strange to you. Including days at Calendar Similar to the previous instructions, by clicking on a weekend day (eg March 24th 2013) and selecting ‘Non-default working day’ you can set this day as a working day.
